 Angela Pinto

Angela Pinto began her legal career in 1995 in a boutique labor and employment firm in Portland, Oregon.  After having served as Director of Human Resources at Fisher Phillips LLP since 2004, she became the Sr. Director of Administration in 2017. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s general management.  Angela has been a member of both AALA and ALA since 2005 and served on AALA’s Business Partner Committee prior to her role as Director of Business Partner Relations.

Angela grew up on the Oregon coast and lived in Portland, Oregon for many years.  Angela moved to Atlanta in 2005 to work for Fisher Phillips’ home office.  While her tenure with Fisher Phillips, Angela has held various roles from legal secretary, paralegal, office manager and now human resources.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys working out, being outdoors, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Amy Anderson began her legal career in 1994 at Greenebaum, Doll and McDonald PLLC in Louisville, Kentucky. She has served as the Human Resources Director of her current Firm, Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP since 2002. Her role at Constangy affords her the opportunity to interact regularly with employees of all levels in different parts of the country which she thoroughly enjoys. An active member of the AALA now for over 12 years, Amy appreciates and values all that the organization has to offer in terms of education and networking opportunities. Amy is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and is a mother to two children – Meredith attending the University of Alabama, and John David, a freshman in high school. In her spare time, Amy enjoys watching college sports, cooking, traveling and reading.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys working out, being outdoors, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Brent Bridges joined DLA Piper as the Atlanta Office Administrator in 2017 after having served as Executive Director of Bloom Sugarman since 2009. The experience of wearing the many hats that managing a boutique firm required was instrumental in preparing him for his new role.

An Alabama native, Brent moved to Atlanta shortly after college and worked in predominantly marketing related roles for most of this career before landing in legal. One of the first pieces of advice Brent received was to get involved with AALA. He has thoroughly enjoyed the many opportunities and benefits that the organization offers, not to mention the amazing networking and people that he continues to meet along the way.

Outside of work, Brent spends as much time as he can with family and friends, traveling, reading, catching a movie or show at the theater, and helping out with the youth at his church.

Adam Hentz is the Office Manager at Bodker, Ramsey, Andrews, Winograd & Wildstein, PC. He has been working in his current position for the past 16 years since leaving the hospitality industry. Adam moved a lot in his younger years before settling down to attend Bowling Green State University. He earned his BA in 1993 and made one more move back to Atlanta. 

Adam currently lives in Decatur with his wife Robin and their two children Will (16) and Catherine (14). He enjoys traveling to Canada (his wife’s home), watching his children’s sports teams and running obstacle course races.

Pat Healy has served as the Firm Administrator of Warner Bates since 2015.  She is responsible for the general firm management, including human resources, benefits, and facilities.  Upon relocating to Atlanta from the Chicago area over 30 years ago, Pat began her legal career working as a legal secretary and paralegal specializing in labor and employment law litigation. Those experiences allowed her to continue her career growth and transition into legal office management.

Pat is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and its Atlanta chapter. Her education includes an associate’s degree in Business Management from Columbia College and Paralegal Studies at Clayton State College.

She currently resides in Smyrna and spends her free time cooking and entertaining for family and friends, traveling, reading, or pursuing her latest passion - painting.

Dixon Dunavant has served as Director of Human Resources at Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP since 2012. She is responsible for the firm’s human resource functions, as well as benefits, facilities, staff recruitment and general firm management.  Dixon has been a member of both AALA and ALA since 2012 and served on AALA’s Membership Committee prior to her role as Membership Director.

A Georgia native, Dixon moved to Atlanta shortly after college and began her career in legal as a paralegal at Parker, Hudson. She later moved into an attorney recruitment role and then went back to school for a Master’s degree in Human Resources. 

Outside of work, Dixon enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, and twins, James (boy) and Woods (girl).

Andrea O’Brien has served as the Firm Administrator of Hall, Arbery, Gilligan, Roberts & Shanlever LLP since 2012. She is responsible for general firm management, including operations, human resources, recruitment, and benefits. Andrea has been a member of both ALA and AALA since 2006, and served as co-chair of the Small Firm Section in 2013.

A native of New York, Andrea moved to Atlanta from Boston in 1987. She has worked primarily for law firms since college, having completed an associate’s degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Andrea resides in Sandy Springs with her husband, Bob. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, quilting, reading, and taking care of her two Havanese dogs, Jax and Molly.

Dawn is a business focused Human Resources leader with experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution and education as well as in legal services.  Her work experiences have included human resource responsibilities in all 50 states and Canada.  A licensed attorney and Six Sigma Green Belt, she has learned that there are many ways to arrive at a solution that will best service the interests of the business and the employees.  Passionate about developing people and watching them succeed, Dawn has taught at the college level and authored/facilitated countless training seminars on leadership, management and human resources.  She brings more than 25 years of Human  Resource Experience to each project.

After 20 years in the retail and manufacturing industries, Dawn joined Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP in 2016 where she is now Chief Human Resources Officer.  She joined AALA and ALA at that time and has served on the AALA Community Engagement Committee.   Dawn  is a native of Georgia and mother of one son – who is attending college in north Georgia.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, reading novels and working with the youth at her local church.

Brennan Sears-Collins is a Human Resources Manager at the Atlanta office of Alston & Bird LLP, where she joined in 2010.  Brennan works on the HR Operations team which includes recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and compensation analysis.  Brennan attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.  She is a native of Atlanta and currently resides in Midtown.  For fun, Brennan enjoys international & domestic travel, cooking and outdoor activities.

Jennifer Brinkley is the founder and Chief Inspiration (Executive) Officer of Inspire Association Management Company, LLC, and acts as Executive Director for various associations including the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators.

Before working with associations, Jennifer was a Firm Administrator for a small firm in Atlanta and was an active member of AALA. She served as chair of the Community Relations Committee and on the Board of Directors as the Membership Director.

As AALA’s Executive Director, Jennifer acts as the Administrator of the Chapter and assists the board members in their duties and acts as the first point of contact for Members and Business Partners.

Jennifer lives in Hoschton with her family. She has two children – Jason, 12, and Maddie, 8. Most of her free time is spent with her children and their activities and she enjoys a good book when she can.
