Amy Anderson began her legal career in 1994 at Greenebaum, Doll and McDonald PLLC in Louisville, Kentucky. She has served as the head of the Human Resources Department of her current Firm, Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP since 2002. Her role at Constangy affords her the opportunity to interact regularly with employees of all levels in different parts of the country which she thoroughly enjoys. An active member of ALA and AALA now for over 16 years, Amy appreciates and values all that the organization has to offer in terms of education and networking opportunities. Amy is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and is a mother to two children – Meredith a graduate of the University of Alabama, and John David, a student at the University of Kentucky. In her spare time, Amy enjoys watching college sports, cooking, traveling and reading.

Brennan Fulton is a Human Resources Manager at the Atlanta office of Alston & Bird LLP, where she joined in 2010.  Brennan works on the HR Operations team which includes recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and compensation analysis.  Brennan attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.  She is a native of Atlanta and currently resides in Midtown.  For fun, Brennan enjoys international & domestic travel, cooking and outdoor activities.

Angela Pinto began her legal career in 1995 in a boutique labor and employment firm in Portland, Oregon.  After having served as Director of Human Resources at Fisher Phillips LLP since 2004, she became the Sr. Director of Administration in 2017. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s general management.  Angela has been a member of both AALA and ALA since 2005 and served on AALA’s Business Partner Committee prior to her role as Director of Business Partner Relations.

Angela grew up on the Oregon coast and lived in Portland, Oregon for many years.  Angela moved to Atlanta in 2005 to work for Fisher Phillips’ home office.  While her tenure with Fisher Phillips, Angela has held various roles from legal secretary, paralegal, office manager and now human resources.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys working out, being outdoors, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Louise Hughes joined Wimberly, Lawson, Steckel, Schneider, & Stine PC as the Office Manager in 2018 after serving as the Office Manager for Ferenczy Benefits Law Center since 2009.  Moving to a law firm that operates across many areas of practice from a boutique law firm is an opportunity to learn new areas of legal management and to help a new firm move into the future with new technology and practices.

A native of upstate New York, Louise moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech for engineering and then Georgia State for their MBA program in Computer Science.  After working in corporate America for 20+ years, she formed a company with a friend in 2006 and was squashed flat by the recession.  A new direction with a dear attorney friend into law firm administration implementing electronic document storage and a practice management system and here we are in the present day!

Outside of work, Louise enjoys reading, walking, baseball (Go Braves!), theater, travel, friends and family.

Jazmin Anglin joined Arnall Golden Gregory LLP in 2017. She has served as Human Resources Coordinator and currently as Recruiting Assistant. She is responsible for attorney recruiting efforts, as well as the summer and fall recruiting programs. She is a member of ALA, AALA, SHRM, and ALRA.

Jazmin was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois. She is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, Jazmin enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and watching college football.

Dawn is a business focused Human Resources leader with experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution and education as well as in legal services.  Her work experiences have included human resource responsibilities in all 50 states and Canada.  A licensed attorney and Six Sigma Green Belt, she has learned that there are many ways to arrive at a solution that will best service the interests of the business and the employees.  Passionate about developing people and watching them succeed, Dawn has taught at the college level and authored/facilitated countless training seminars on leadership, management and human resources.  She brings more than 25 years of Human  Resource Experience to each project.

After 20 years in the retail and manufacturing industries, Dawn joined Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP in 2016 where she is now Chief Human Resources Officer.  She joined AALA and ALA at that time and has served on the AALA Community Engagement Committee.   Dawn  is a native of Georgia and mother of one son – who is attending college in north Georgia.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, reading novels and working with the youth at her local church.

Diane Beams joined Thompson, O’Brien, Kemp & Nasuti, P.C. as Firm Administrator in May of 2015.   She is responsible for general firm management, including finance, operations, human resources, benefits, and recruiting.  Diane is a licensed attorney and has been a member of ALA and AALA since 2002.

A native of Alabama, Diane moved to the Atlanta area in 1986 and began her legal career shortly thereafter.  She has served in various roles from receptionist, legal secretary, paralegal, human resources manager, office manager and now administrator.  This experience provides Diane a great perspective in performing her job.

Diane is an avid Crimson Tide football fan, enjoys watching almost any sports event, boxing, and traveling.

Dixon Dunavant has served as Director of Human Resources at Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP since 2012. She is responsible for the firm’s human resource functions, as well as benefits, facilities, staff recruitment and general firm management.  Dixon has been a member of both AALA and ALA since 2012 and served on AALA’s Membership Committee prior to her role as Membership Director.

A Georgia native, Dixon moved to Atlanta shortly after college and began her career in legal as a paralegal at Parker, Hudson. She later moved into an attorney recruitment role and then went back to school for a Master’s degree in Human Resources. 

Outside of work, Dixon enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, and twins, James (boy) and Woods (girl).

Andrea O’Brien has served as the Firm Administrator of Hall, Arbery, Gilligan, Roberts & Shanlever LLP since 2012. She is responsible for general firm management, including operations, human resources, recruitment, and benefits. Andrea has been a member of both ALA and AALA since 2006, and served as co-chair of the Small Firm Section in 2013.

A native of New York, Andrea moved to Atlanta from Boston in 1987. She has worked primarily for law firms since college, having completed an associate’s degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Andrea resides in Sandy Springs with her husband, Bob. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, quilting, reading, and taking care of her two Havanese dogs, Jax and Molly.

Jennifer Brinkley is the founder and Chief Inspiration (Executive) Officer of Inspire Association Management Company, LLC, and acts as Executive Director for various associations including the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators.

Before working with associations, Jennifer was a Firm Administrator for a small firm in Atlanta and was an active member of AALA. She served as chair of the Community Relations Committee and on the Board of Directors as the Membership Director.

As AALA’s Executive Director, Jennifer acts as the Administrator of the Chapter and assists the board members in their duties and acts as the first point of contact for Members and Business Partners.

Jennifer lives in Hoschton with her family. She has two children – Jason, 13, and Maddie, 9. Most of her free time is spent with her children and their activities and she enjoys a good book when she can.
